Through the years (especially the last four years), I’ve seen myself grow into a maginificent being. Today marks my 29th birthday, and I must say I’m so unbelievably grateful for the last year. More ups than downs, but I consider downs to be ups, too. The learning process along the way and the endless, life-long learning I’ve committed myself to is going to push me to some of the greatest heights in my life.
The last 365 days have been life-transforming with trips to Bali, Kuala Lumpur, Los Angeles, and Phoenix. Along the way I was met with laughs, smiles, best friends, competitions galore, hi-fives with strangers and pure joy.
The last 365 days has been the most exhilarating of my life. The self-development department and the constant insipiration I give to the thousands of listeners across the world is another massive achievement in its own. Podcast in iTunes, website, and the development of my book has been a dragging process, but now the payoff is here.
From where I was 4 years ago when I had to battle through the constant colorism and racism, to be being on top of a mountain in grassy fields (metaphorically speaking) is not only what I needed, but what everyone needs in their life. Through all the dark clouds, haze, mist and fog in life is freedom. On the other side of fear – is freedom. Pushing yourself physically, mentally and emotionally is all part of the process in unfolding the best versions of ourselves, and I encourage you to do it, too.
