Add s to most nouns.
Add es to nouns ending in s, sh, ss, z, x, or ch.
Add es to most nouns ending in o.
For nouns ending in consonant + y, change y to ies.
For nouns ending in f or fe, change f(e) to ves.
Examples:
Name/names friend/friends box/boxes class/classes
hero/heroes tomato/tomatoes hobby/hobbies family/families
half/halves wife/wives
