You guys will be extremely excited about this! I will be going over a full test of TOEFL iTP today, doing the Longman test and walking you through a number of techniques. In saying that, I have all the questions down below but make sure you tune into the podcast and YouTube video for explanations.
Welcome back to another developing vocabulary, people! This one is going to be about prefixes and suffixes — everything we’ve achieved over these last two years summed up in this chapter. Also, there will be some difficult questions and great things for you to work on. So, without further ado, let’s get into this.
UNBELIEVABLE! After 2 years and almost two months, I’ve achieved one of the biggest, most monumental goals since podcasting. The six-figure plateau has been reached, all thanks to the 172 countries and 4.1k cities that have tuned in. I can’t say how grateful I am, but in this podcast, I express my gratitude by giving special shout outs to the cities such as Sao Paolo, Taipei, Tokyo, and HCMC which have listened to me for a long time — and even Ashburn, Virginia….a superfan(s) who have following me since 2017 (personal development podcast). Just four days after my birthday….macro-goal achieved. This didn’t come overnight. It was a build-up…and that’s what you need to understand in life. It’s about planting seeds today and watering them for years so you can reap the benefits later. BOOM!
Welcome back to another podcast/reading for you guys. We’re talking nature vs. nurture today, but before we do, thinking about how the attitude of bringing up children might have changed in your country over the last 20 years.
We’re back with some collocations! It’s been a LONG TIME since I’ve done a collocations podcast, so here we are!
Welcome, everyone! For those of you who have been following and are learning ESL pronunciation, today is the day after my birthday and I’m in the season of GIVING.
For the next five days, you’ll be able to sign up for my pronunciation course Phase III for a discounted price of $9.99 (original 19.99). Woohoo! Finally someone took it upon themself to submit a recording! I’m so happy that you guys are utilizing the tools I’m finally giving you, and with that being said, welcome to the first grading of the TOEFL iBT speaking test. In this podcast, I will critique the small audio he had submitted to me. Because he did so well, I had to really figure out what areas he could get better in, and that’s exactly what I did in this podcast. I hope you enjoy this!
Academic lectures often contain facts and statistical data that can be included in descriptions of patterns, as well as of trends and static numbers.
A pattern is series of repeated events or actions that describe things how things really are. A trend is a change or development, and a static number describes a single event.
- When money is invested, the overall prices comes down. – Patterns
- This number is increasing on a monthly basis. – Trend
- It cost more than 1.5 million USD. – Static Number
Presenters often use terms to make the statistical data approximate. This happens when the exact numbers are unknown or unclear, and also to simplify figures for the audience.

Listen to the extracts from the discussion and fill in each blank with one to three words or a number.
Welcome to another close listening! First, brainstorm what you know about the two following topics: developing space travel, finding new planets. Even over the last couple of weeks, I’ve seen a number of topics come up on websites explaining that Earth has found more exoplanets that can sustain an ecosystem similar to our planet. So, what you’re going to do is brainstorm in a free-writing type of way, then number the pain points below in order.
- Competitions encourage financial investment in space travel.
- Distant planets are being discovered more easily now.
- Early adopters can already buy an experience in space.
- There are several methods for discovering the existence of planets.
- The future of space research will focus on distant planets.
- Investment in space travel follows other investment patterns.
- Space travel is a financial issue.
- The transit method involves measuring light.
- there has been an improvement in the success rate of rock launches.
We’re back! So, because I’ve realized some of the TOEFL iTP segments have hit 500 plays (and big shout out to the country of Mexico because you make the majority of plays), I decided to go the coaching route (without the student) and help you out with one of these. Again, if you’re tuning into this on IG or Facebook, make sure you go to my website (thearseniobuckshow.com) to check out my notes, questions and answers to the podcast/video. With that being said, let’s dive into this one!
