IELTS Speaking Correction seRVICES / cOACHING

I’m rolling out a great IELTS speaking service today. It’s important to have multiple products with multiple price points out there to cater to the masses, so in saying that, I’ve rolled out my IELTS (part II) correction services. As most of you know, Part II is possibly the most daunting because you’re unsure what type of question would be asked. This pushes you to speak for up to two minutes about a topic, and if you don’t know how to carry the conversation, you could miss a lot of marks.

So, I’m now providing a reliable source in terms of correcting your Part II speaking tasks which will be graded on the following criteria: fluency and coherence, pronunciation, lexical resources and grammatical range and accuracy.

For each speaking audio you submit, you will receive valuable feedback, action points, a guesstimate in terms of what score you would get from it, and how you can improve.

Depending on the package, you will also be given a free 1-hour video session to go over your previous tasks and even do live coaching.

Inquire about the services today by hitting any of the social links down below (next page).

100,000 Plays for my ESL Podcast! | Macro-Goal Achieved!

UNBELIEVABLE! After 2 years and almost two months, I’ve achieved one of the biggest, most monumental goals since podcasting.  The six-figure plateau has been reached, all thanks to the 172 countries and 4.1k cities that have tuned in.  I can’t say how grateful I am, but in this podcast, I express my gratitude by giving special shout outs to the cities such as Sao Paolo, Taipei, Tokyo, and HCMC which have listened to me for a long time — and even Ashburn, Virginia….a superfan(s) who have following me since 2017 (personal development podcast).  Just four days after my birthday….macro-goal achieved.  This didn’t come overnight.  It was a build-up…and that’s what you need to understand in life. It’s about planting seeds today and watering them for years so you can reap the benefits later. BOOM!

ARSENIO’S ESL PODCAST | SEASON 5 EPISODE 127 | Listening | Listening & Space Travel

Welcome to another close listening! First, brainstorm what you know about the two following topics: developing space travel, finding new planets. Even over the last couple of weeks, I’ve seen a number of topics come up on websites explaining that Earth has found more exoplanets that can sustain an ecosystem similar to our planet. So, what you’re going to do is brainstorm in a free-writing type of way, then number the pain points below in order.

  • Competitions encourage financial investment in space travel.
  • Distant planets are being discovered more easily now.
  • Early adopters can already buy an experience in space.
  • There are several methods for discovering the existence of planets.
  • The future of space research will focus on distant planets.
  • Investment in space travel follows other investment patterns.
  • Space travel is a financial issue.
  • The transit method involves measuring light.
  • there has been an improvement in the success rate of rock launches.

ARSENIO’S ESL PODCAST | SEASON 5 EPISODE 128 | Close LISTENING | Identifying Patterns in Lectures

Academic lectures often contain facts and statistical data that can be included in descriptions of patterns, as well as of trends and static numbers.

A pattern is series of repeated events or actions that describe things how things really are. A trend is a change or development, and a static number describes a single event.

  • When money is invested, the overall prices comes down. – Patterns
  • This number is increasing on a monthly basis. – Trend
  • It cost more than 1.5 million USD. – Static Number

Presenters often use terms to make the statistical data approximate. This happens when the exact numbers are unknown or unclear, and also to simplify figures for the audience.

approximately just under just over almost more than

Listen to the extracts from the discussion and fill in each blank with one to three words or a number.

TOEFL ITP | LISTENING PART B | Haircut

We’re back! So, because I’ve realized some of the TOEFL iTP segments have hit 500 plays (and big shout out to the country of Mexico because you make the majority of plays), I decided to go the coaching route (without the student) and help you out with one of these. Again, if you’re tuning into this on IG or Facebook, make sure you go to my website (thearseniobuckshow.com) to check out my notes, questions and answers to the podcast/video. With that being said, let’s dive into this one!

IELTS Writing | Part I | Maps | Describing Changes

Welcome back to another IELTS blog on writing maps! About 1 year ago, I was sitting in a cafe at a BTS line here in Bangkok, Thailand and I promised that I would begin doing IELTS writing. However, I failed…but I’m back a year later to deliver. I’m going to get you warmed up with some questions before giving you a description of a map. Now, if you want to see the map, hit my YouTube link down below, scroll down and you’ll see the exact title of this in video format. From there, you’ll be able to see how I explain everything.

  1. What changes have occurred in the place you come from? Do you think they are positive or negative changes?
  2. Imagine you are a young person moving to a new town. Which facilities in the list below would be important to you?

Vocabulary: golf course, skate park, theatre, railway station, concert hall, gallery, stadium, ice rink, park, college, airport.

TOEFL iBT | Reading | 1 on 1 Coaching | Guide to Answering Questions

In this podcast, I discuss with a student from Afghanistan HOW to answer questions. The majority of students out there in the world are unsure how to answer — if they should take two sides or how long they should spend on the reading versus the material they listen to. Regardless of what task it is, here’s a 1 on 1 coaching with me explaining the details in the podcast down below.
