Topic: Doing What’s Needed….For Now

I came across a situation (cleared up since then) when I was utterly confused at the reaction of someone. My “boss,” who I speak to maybe once a year, wanted to me notified via agent/me when the renewal of my visa was coming. He said, “you should’ve notified me before you paid.”

So then I quickly jumped to my own defence and said, “wait, so if I had asked you before, would you have accepted my renewal?”

That’s simply overthinking — which it turned out to be. But that’s only my situation. Some of you are in similar situations where people want to have that sort of power over you, and because we’re living in rapidly changing times, our pride says “tell them to fuck off,” but it’s essential to think things through while beating on your craft (side hustle) at the same time. The Global Coaches Podcast| Inspirational Monday | Arsenio Buck | No Net

WOW! Welcome to my new joint-podcast featuring Mira Butler and I. At the time, we started with four but the others weren’t in alignment with the overall purpose of this podcast so now it’s just Mira Butler and I. In the future, we will attract more to us.

Because I’m the first podcast debuting, I need to give a solid introduction behind why I started a new podcast. Mira Butler and I have done a ton of work together, and we’re trying to conjure up ways to expand our reach. We began with the IG lives because we realized they would play a pivotal role in creating our tribe, but having a podcast, too, would obviously push things out there at a far-quicker pace. Our goal is to bring coaches with specialities in a wide-range of areas. Mira being a transformation coach, myself being an inspiration coach, and we’ll find others who specialize in other areas. There’s a lot to be spoken about and there will be an introduction podcast coming shortly, but today is my inspirational message.

Three Questions to Think About Often & Keeps You Focused

Some things you need to keep in your mind that will help you maintain focus. The most important question is: “what is something in your life that death isn’t going to kill?” I’m speaking from a legacy standpoint. What is something that is and forever will be after you leave the body and domain? This is called impact….and if you strive for impact while you’re alive, you won’t count the minutes, hours, days, weeks, months….you will live in the NOW and embrace all things that come to you.

1) If the truth was written on your tombstone, what would it say?

  • Lived, but never felt alive?
  • Didn’t go for his/her dreams?
  • This person died empty because he lived an empty life!

2) If your life ended today, what regrets would you have?

                                   List all your regrets!

3) What is something about your life that death isn’t going to kill?

  • What’s going to live on when you move on?
  • What about you is never going to die?

Honorable Quotes

“Don’t disrespect your life by wasting your life.”

“You are in control of how you live your life between now and death.”

10 Ways to make your dream come true

1. Be Yourself

SOME people might say you’re too fat, you’re too short, too straight, too gay. Whatever your sexual preference is, color of your skin, perception of life, values…just know that there will never be another YOU on this planet. In order to make your dreams come true, you have to be 100% authentic about who you are. If you’re even just slightly off, that could have a catastrophic effect on your passion.

Completing The Past Part II

After going back and completing the past, my conscious was now free. Those three individuals that were not only on my mind but also in the subconscious (dreams), they were no more. This was the most free-ing exercise. One of the individuals had responded with her explanation, but it didn’t even matter because it was ME who needed the closure, and perhaps that had given her some closure, too. The other two? One never responded…and that’s totally fine because I did it without expectation. The other one was actually resolved a couple of weeks prior but “dumb me” thought it could’ve been a life-time relationship but it was just a purposeful relationship. Lol. Tune in!

Complete The Past

Yes, this is one of those podcasts that you need to really listen to because I’ve had a number of faces creep into my dreams. Now, it’s very difficult to even recall dreams after you wake up in the morning, but there were about 2-3 people who kept coming into my dreams and I was just confused as to why.

So, I asked myself the question: “did I complete these relationships?” The answer was “no.” So what I did was I took to Instagram, and this allowed me to finally write the final chapter of the book and close it permanently. When I did that, they were no longer in my conscious or dreams….and then I started attracting to me people who I was possibly pushing away because the energy that was surrounding the previous relationships.

Presentations are here and let’s do a little bit of speaking.

What do you think these ideas mean?

  1. “When we go online, we enter an environment that promotes cursory reading, hurried, and distracted thinking, and superficial learning.”
  2. “We are evolving from being cultivators of personal knowledge to being hunters and gatherers in the electronic data forest.”
  3. “The printed page is in danger of being swept away on a tide of new technology.”
  4. “Information becomes a distraction, a diversion, a form of entertainment, rather than a tool of empowerment.”

Arsenio’s ESL Podcast: Q & A # 1 – Overcoming The Fear of Speaking English

Woohoo! I’m kicking off a new edition of Q & A’s! That’s right, for those of you that ask questions about specific things, I’ll be featuring them on a podcast one a weekly basis (might be Wednesday) and answer your questions as fully as possible. Here’s our first question!

Teacher, I would like you to post a video explaining how to overcome fear or how to be confident when it comes to speaking English.

Cristian of Colombia

Brilliant question. Has a degree of self-awareness to it. Everyone in the world wants to know how they can become more confident in their respective fields, more importantly in communication. When it comes to fear, we’ll always have. We can’t banish fear because we’re human beings — when we feel such a thing — our defensive mechanism comes up. The “fight or flight” mode kicks in. But there is a way to handle it by asking yourself these questions.

What’s the worst that can happen?

Honestly, what’s the worst thing that can happen? They might make a mockery of you. It happened to me here in Thailand. I moved to a country not knowing the language, so I’m in the same group as many of you are who are studying the English language. Yes, I was made fun of, restaurants didn’t make my food on purpose, they pointed at me, laughed at me, talked about me behind my back BUT IN MY FACE, but it’s just noise.

Stick to your true values and beliefs and none of that will mean a damn thing.

Afraid of being judged?

I’ve been judged all my life. I’ve been judged because the color of my skin. Yes, if you’re a Spanish speaker and have a heavy accent, a lot of anglo Americans might judge you. If you have a Chinese accent in Australia, you’re probably judged by a lot of Aussies (as videos have shown). But again, where are the insecurities? You. It’s not them. They’re begging for your attention and have an alpha mask on. You, on the other hand, are giving them the attention by seeping down to their level. You will be judged when you’re trying to make the best of yourself…you have to be comfortable being uncomfortable to become a strong communicator in English.

Afraid of failure?

Better make him/her your friend! Failure is one big vitamin to me. I’ve had much more failures than successes and they’ve helped me achieve the unthinkable. It has helped me realize how unbelievable a human being I am. So what, you failed an academic English test. That’s impractical. Can you communicate effectively across cultures? That will be more important in life. Trust me.

Afraid of not being understood? Welcome to the party.

I’ve been misunderstood by my family on countless occasions — and we speak the same language! I’ve been misunderstood by some of my best friends, and that will never change. It’s a part of living and growing. When you’re communicating, people might ask other people what you’re talking about and put you in a more uncomfortable situation. Sucks at first, but what did you really learn from it?

Ramble of Positivity: Episode 030 – Kicking off The New Year on Fire

First and foremost, the majority of you need to understand how to be grateful. When I do this particular podcast, I love to outline just how to do that, so here it is!

Actionable Steps

Give me a list of 5 things you’re especially grateful for — unattached to money.

Give two people compliments throughout your day without being told to do it.

How can you develop a positive mental attitude?

From the beginning of last year, I started developing my mind rigorously — day-in and day-out. For most of you out there, development in general is something of the past. Some of you aren’t even into personal development, and you’ll be doing the same things (if you haven’t already started) this year just like you were doing last year. Same people, same irresponsibility, same habits, same everything. You have to train your mind, and it’s one of the most difficult things to do.

I recall going to Australia back in 2017 and a friend told me, “you’ve changed. You mention being black and you have a thing against caucasians like I’ve never seen before.”

Still carrying the weight of how society, as a whole, has treated me in this country….I was still a victim. In order to escape victimhood, you have to to hone in and own up to everything that has ever happened to you. The University of Hardknocks loves giving out degrees to just about everyone in the world; regardless of race, creed, color, religion, etc.

At the beginning of last year, and as desperate as I was, I came across Napoleon Hill’s Positive Mental Attitude and that was the beginning of the change.

From actionable steps, to habits….you have to train your mind. I’m done with the “I will” and I love “I’m going to” more…because that’s a plan. Will is in the future and will forever be in the future.

  • I’m so unbelievably grateful that I’m living in an age where ample opportunity is everywhere.
  • I’m very thankful for the support group I’ve created that constantly gives me feedback.
  • I’m proud of the fact that I’ve been able to develop my mind to the point that I get amazing ideas to improve my business and give back to the society.
  • With all my heart, thank you for the process last year….a process which was so desperately needed.
